These unroasted and unsalted walnut kernels are 100% Australian grown with a slightly crunchy texture and mild, earthy flavour. Walnuts are an exceptionally nutritious nut – often referred to as brain food and not just because they resemble a brain!
Our Australian walnuts are grown in Tasmania. Walnut kernels are the edible kernel of the fruit from trees in the Juglandaceae family. The walnut kernel consists of two uneven, corrugated lobes, white in colour and covered by a paper thin, light brown skin. They are not heat treated.
